Best time to visit: Anytime
Description: This short walk has stunning views and is a great trail to take to help you digest following a visit to one of the nearby cafe's. You'll have great views of the bay and Angel Island, and it's a nice place to relax and watch the sailboats and ferries. You'll start along the water, which has a nice grassy area to the side and several benches. You'll pass the Railroad and Ferry Depot Museum (closed during COVID), and I recommend following the hill up to Elephant Rock to watch the fisherman and then to Lyford's Stone Tower, a stone arch that looks like the remnants of a castle. Although there is private property on each side, the tower is open to the public and has a great view of Angel Island.
This park does not have restrooms or running water.
