Description: This 741-acre park features beautiful, flat trails running along the water, a 50-acre protected marsh, and several grassy areas with picnic tables and BBQ pits. Dogs are not allowed in the marsh area, but it’s still viewable along the trail. There are several art installations along the trails, picnic areas and BBQ pits. Various wildlife can be seen along the shoreline and in the marsh area. This is a great bird watching spot. Later in the year, you can even see bat rays! Stand on the bridge over the channel (just past the pier) and keep an eye out in the water. 

The park has abundant trash cans throughout. Flushing toilets are available at the Tidewater Staging Area, along with water fountains outside in the middle of the Aquatic Center.
