Description: This lake has a scenic 1.25 mile flat trail surrounding it, which is a great place to walk or go for a run. There are picnic tables and a gazebo around the lake. Do not let your dog in the lake, as it has an algae problem like so many of the other lakes during the drought. This used to be a spot for fishing and paddle boating, but the city is working to resolve the algae problem before lake activity resumes. There’s a floating island in the center of the lake that is being used to control algae, but no one knows how long it will take to clear up the problem. If you’re on your way to Feather Falls, you will literally pass right by this lake, and you can’t miss it. It’s a great place to stop and stretch your legs.
