Large, 3-acre off-leash dog park at the entrance. Best time to visit: A cool or shady day. There isn’t much shade in this park, so I wouldn’t recommend going on a hot day. However, the trails along the shore are mostly flat and stay cooler because of the bay breeze Don't miss: The sculptures and echo chamber
Description: This park has a few miles of scenic trails with connections to the Bay Trail on each side. When you first enter, there is a large, 3-acre dog park with big and small dog areas to the right. There are trails behind it that circle the park, as well as well as a grassy trail that takes you up a hill to the peak of the park. You will notice various art sculptures in the park, some moving with the wind, and an echo chamber at the peak that you can stand inside. The flat trails along the water are popular with cyclists. You can walk for miles by taking the Bay Trail to the right or left and continue on.
This park has trash cans, restrooms with flushing toilets and drinking water.
