Description: This is a 413-acre shoreline park in Richmond with a dog-friendly beach. It features 1.4 miles of shoreline and views of the bay, including Mount Tam, Mount Saint Helena and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. The beach is clean and expansive, with gentle waves where your dog can dip its feet. It’s a nice spot to walk your dog along the beach or on the grass area above. This area was formerly a naval fuel depot, acting as a fuel storage facility.
From the yellow gated entrance, if you walk straight ahead towards the water, you'll notice there's a steep drop to access the water. Walk to your left, towards where you drove in, and you'll see a short and easy trail down to the beach. You can even take the main trail down 1 mile to the Richmond Bridge.
This park has a Porta Potty, trash cans, picnic tables and BBQs.
