Description: This 31-acre park sits at the center of McLaughlin Eastshore State Park and just opened in May 2022. It is a hidden gem. The well-maintained paths offer tranquility and breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. You can take the main loop trail, which approximately 1 mile long, to see views of the Bay and marsh. Connecting trails of McLaughlin Eastshore State Park extend from Richmond to the Bay Bridge, approximately 8.5 miles. Please note that most of the marshland trails in that park are preserves and therefore not dog-friendly.
Brickyard Cove is a great alternative to the popular César Chávez Park, down the road, which tends to get very crowded.
Restrooms with flushing toilets and running water are available near the parking lot, along with several picnic benches. There is also one EV charging area in the parking lot.
